Marilyn Longwell has dedicated her legal career to helping families navigate the challenges of life transitions. With more than 30 years of experience, she possesses a deep understanding of family law and its emotional complexities. Marilyn is passionate about finding workable solutions that prioritize the well-being of all family members. Her commitment to open communication and client-centered representation has earned her awards, accolades and a reputation for excellence in the legal community.

 

Marilyn is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and has been appointed to its Family Law Section Council, which reviews and proposes statutory changes and provides continuing education for the state bar association. She is past president of the West Suburban Bar Association and a member of Chicago, DuPage County.

 

She has twice been a finalist for Cook County Associate Judge. Ms. Longwell has authored numerous articles and given many presentations on Family Law topics. She is admitted to all levels of state and federal courts in Illinois.
