In 2014, Cristina graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with her Juris Doctorate and certificates in Advocacy and Child and Family Law. While at Loyola, she served as Junior Editor and Assistant Symposium Editor of the Children’s Legal Right Journal. She also worked at Civitas ChildLaw Center and ChildLaw Clinic providing research and representation for children in Domestic Relations and Child Protection cases and earning the CALI Award for her diligence.
Her legal knowledge combined with her passion for children and family relationships allows her to effectively advocate for clients. Cristina belongs to the Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections of the American Bar Association as well as the International Law (Family Law Section) and Mediation (ADR Section) Committees.
Cristina has researched factual and legal issues, drafted pleadings and motions and represented clients in federal-court international parent abductions cases (federal cases brought under the Hague Convention).
She holds a certificate in Divorce Mediation from Northwestern University.
When Cristina is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Jon, and their blended family.
